There wasn’t any post this week, and it appeared as if I have gone on vacation without notice. This being the year end, when I typically took a vacation from work. But it’s really just an excuse, since I have been in the unemployment pool for a few months. I confess: the truth is I ran out of material to post.
I haven’t been working on the slug. Don’t know why, really. Just not able to be motivated at the moment. By the way, I should thank the few sites which linked to the “Hacking Linksys NSLU2″ posts. You helped to bring more traffic to this blog than it usually got.
I haven’t be tinkering my Ubuntu desktops. The installs have pretty much be hacked to the point where they are now doing things as perfectly as I wanted them to be.
The few random thoughts I blogged about were just that: few and far in between. I am simply being the old school geek who have a hard time expressing himself. I would sit around pondering what I would say. After wasting an hour, I still got nothing.
Other random stuffs I blogged about were simply silly. I tried to avoid them, but sometimes, I can’t help myself from silliness.
Meanwhile, as much as I tried not to think about it, this unemployment is constantly niggling at the back of my mind. It was a life changing experience, but the turnaround is no where in sight.
So, as a result of all that, I went on unplanned vacation. Apologies to all loyal followers of this blog. I will try my best to come back with new materials next year. Thank you for your support!
