Software Freedom Day (SFD) is fast approaching. The celebration will be held worldwide on 20th September 2008.
In Singapore, volunteers and corporate sponsors are coming together for the event at Singapore Management University. To learn more, visit the SFD Singapore website.
This week, Team Ubuntu Singapore has a final meeting before the event. All preparations are being finalized, and we are almost ready.
If you would like to know more about Ubuntu, or see some demostrations of the desktop and applications, please visit us at our event’s booth. You can even bring your PC or laptop, and we will try out best to help you install Ubuntu.
Meanwhile, we will also be conducting a talk titled “Ubuntu: Linux for Human Beings” at National University of Singapore (NUS). The NUS SFD event will be held one day earlier, on 19th September 2008. Visit here for more information about the NUS SFD.
