If your ISP is Singnet (Singapore) and you are getting intermittent server connection resets, or blank pages when accessing this blog, a temporary solution is to set your browser’s proxy setting to:
proxy.singnet.com.sg:8080
I have been communicating with this blog’s hosting provider (GoDaddy) for a few weeks trying to resolve the problem. Finally, they informed me to contact Singnet. We are fairly convinced that the problem is not caused by the hosting provider, since I have accessed (and got a friend to access this blog) from other ISPs. Thus far, the problem only occurred when browsing from Singnet.
A Singnet customer service officer has informed me to set the proxy as above, which appeared to have fixed the problem. However, I have requested them to investigate further, as I could not well tell everyone coming from Singnet to do this.
Please stay tune. When I received more information, I will update with posts in category “Singnet”. If you are a Singnet user and are seeing this problem, I would very much appreciate it if you could drop a comment below. Thank you for your patience.
